hey man, this is a really cool idea for what's looking like it'll be a really cool movie. I can't think of a single thing to contribute, but if I do i shall post it

I had a dream someone threw a guitar into a wood chipper. *shudders*
Include it however you wish, just make sure it's not too graphic please.

I woke up teary eyed, it was terrible. :/

surgery... the thought of being under the knife while awake, but unable to move. Some guy I don't recognize cutting me open and sticking his hand inside me. I try to say "STOP, STOP", but all that comes out is heavy breathing. I've had many nightmares about this.

a room with a "carnival" type feel, where everything has trippy neon colors, and some sort of creature coming towards you with an extremely psychotic grin. something like that would be cool

Actually the Mad TV theme song sends chills up my spine....but maybe thats just me.

losing control of the my "other" self.....*shudders* ><

Extremely creepy Mother-Son relationship. Not so scary, but disturbing.

These are 5 different ideas, so don't TL/DR me.

When I was little I had a dream where I was laying on the ground with my feet against the closet and I said "I know you're in there. Just come out and do it." The closet doors ripped open and I woke up screaming. I never got to see what came out except a black shape and I could hardly sleep for weeks afterward.

We used to have these huge stuffed bears in my basement and I had more than one nightmare about walking down the stairs and getting attacked by them when I was little.

My parents have a door at the bottom of our basement steps (which are abnormally long), and whenever I was home alone I would close the door. But you can still see a crack of light at the bottom of the stairs and whenever I would walk by I would imagine a shadow going across it. Sometimes I'd stare at it, because I couldn't turn away, but all the while the fear of seeing that shadow would grow.

Something I've always noticed about my nightmares is that I'll see something terrifying, then rush into it headfirst thinking I'll just get it over with and wake up with a gripping fear and wonder at my own insanity. I also seem to feel incredibly weak and helpless during those dreams. Like I try to fight, but can hardly move my arms, they feel like they fell asleep, or like they do after you just wake up and can't grip anything properly.

Something about being alone in my parents house always got to me. They have a big yard with lots of places to hide and lots of windows. I would drive myself crazy checking the house over and over again for invaders, and every time I did it made the anxiety a little worse because I'd remember a place I didn't check, or I'd hear a noise in some basement room.

sounds cool , and i dont really know what freaks me out the most.

Hospitals. Doctors. Surgeons. Surgery. Scalpels. Needles.

I have a slight phobia of ice cream truck music because of two incidents.

One was a Halloween when I was young this guy driving around the neighborhood in an ice cream truck whilst wearing a freaky skull mask calling for his daughter over a megaphone.

Then a few years later, when I first stayed home by myself it was pouring outside, a real nasty storm, yet this Ice Cream truck kept driving up and down the block so all you'd hear is the music...

interesting and understandable phobia. would make a fun movie on it's own.

Hmmmm....probably those girl dolls that just sit there, watching you with those black beady eyes of theirs. There was one at my aunty's house that used to always freak me out. It just sat there...and if I stared at it long enough, it moved(lol). Looks so innocent yet generates fear. Why? I dunno. Anyways, yeah...
Nurses. I hate them. They don't care at all for people. My great aunty was dying and you could tell they didn't care. There were just like: oh, another old fart dying.
Oh yeah! The thought of there being some sort of animal or something crawling inside your body. Like in Aliens, when they just pop out of their chests. Mainly cause things inside your body could just harm you alot and you wouldn't be able to do anything. Except stab at yourself and hope to kill it.
Being tied up is gay. Freaky children that seem innocent but are EVIL... Kids with knives. Being isolated. Seeing sick people around you. Seeing crazy people around you. The fact that you know you're crazy. The fact that you don't know you're crazy. Deep parts of the ocean. Just cause it gets dark and there's like creatures that could easily kill you as they have an advantage in the sea. Knowing you're gonna die soon. Freaky looking people staring at you. N***as with guns.

Unable to talk or move...
getting abducted

seeing a dead relative....

(TimFrommeyer responds: tldr)

Oh that's right! I forgot you're like super ADD something or rather. XD

Short version: I dreamt a cat was squished to death in a glass elevator.

ok i came up with somethin

floating in water... it's very deep and very dark, and then you look down and there's something horrible underneath you, looking up. Most people can't move very fast in water, and so you're thrashing and swimming and trying to get the hell away but you can't, and it's still there grinning up at you... i have thoughts of this variety anytime i go swimming in a lake.

oh and another thing. a few months ago i had these recurring dreams where a little kid, only about 8 or 9, was latched onto me, hitting me and punching me all over, and I kept trying to get him off but my arms were weak and no matter how hard I hit him he just kept pummeling me with a big smile on his face. That probably has some kind of relevance to my psyche but I don't know what that would be.

One thing that really scares me is the idea of seeing a ghost. Sounds a bit silly, but it's something that really does scare me.

Sometimes if i'm in my house at night by myself, i'll walk through and just think - "Imagine if I was to open this door and see a ghost, or see a reflection of a ghost behind me in a mirror".

Good luck Tim.

Wasn't sure if you got my message, I'll post a short version here.

Helplessness

(like watching a loved one being decapitated and not being able to do anything)
It's happened to me before.

Dolls...bald dolls without its eyes. Speaking things like "Are you afraid of your insignificant existence?" "Will you play with me?"

And a clown...a creepy red clown in the bathroom, behind the courtain of the shower. Laughing...waiting for me to move that courtain.

Shadows...weird and blurry shadows in my bedroom, in all the darkness of my room. Moving through the walls, until it reach me at the bed...and give me a surprise in front of my eyes.

And of course...the screamers, but that scares everybody.

It'll be really scary...a weird and small person, looking me, behind the open door of my bedroom...looking me from a very long distance. Waiting.

And eyes that appear in a dark wall...big eyes, looking me.

Maybe bugs too...like big flies or spiders...but that it's just disguisting.

And children. Running and screaming in the house at night...very ugly kids.

That's what scares me.

i've always thought that seeing some girl get stabbed in her pussy would be pretty fucking disturbing.
